Get to know me…

I am without a doubt Chicago bred and New York driven, but I am lucky to now call Miami home. Having moved to Jamaica, Queens in 2008, I hustled my way through college ultimately earning a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in business from St. John’s University. I’ve spent the past 10+ years working behind the scenes for brands like Nike, Jordan Brand, Def Jam Recordings, various NBA All-Star weekends, as well as serving as an Operations Manager to a former NBA All-Star. I’ve performed as a trusted consultant to incredibly talented creatives in the art space and produced interactive live events. Safe to say I’ve worn many hats in my career as an entertainment professional, but nothing that gives me the type of adrenaline rush I get from pressing the shutter. No matter what phase of my career I was in, one thing my colleagues and friends always noticed was me in the back of the room taking the perfectly symmetrical photo of any stage that was set or the best candid shots of guests laughing. It’s in these moments where I learned photography was my true passion.

If you would have asked me 10 years ago, I thought I would merely be just an iPhone photographer. It wasn’t until friend and fellow photographer, Jonathan Mannion, gave me some advice I’ll never forget, “ It’s not about the tools you use but your eyes. Trust your vision and keep shooting!” Photography is the one thing that makes me happy, and no matter how long it takes to get the shot, always leaves me in awe of what my eyes can see. I am extremely grateful to now be in a position to pursue my passion professionally.. You know how the saying goes… “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
